Anagram Control: a free web editor for the Darkglass Anagram

Anagram Control lets you edit your Darkglass Anagram from your computer. Plug the pedal in over USB-C, open this page in Chrome or Edge, and you can build presets, rearrange blocks and dial in every parameter on a big screen. There's nothing to install.

What you can do

  • Browse and load all 126 preset slots on the pedal
  • Add, move, replace and bypass blocks on the main and parallel rows
  • Adjust every amp, drive, EQ, modulation, delay and reverb parameter with its real range and units
  • Set up scenes 1–3, with the pedal's Control Active and Control All behaviour
  • Hear edits live, then save to any slot, or import and export presets as files
  • Switch presets, scenes and modes, and use the tuner and tap tempo over USB MIDI

How to connect

  1. Quit Darkglass Suite (only one app can control the pedal at a time).
  2. Connect the Anagram to your computer with a USB-C cable.
  3. Open this page in desktop Chrome, Edge or Opera and click Connect Anagram.

FAQ

Is this an official Darkglass app?

No. It's an independent, unofficial tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Darkglass Electronics.

Why doesn't it work in Safari or Firefox?

They don't support WebHID, the browser feature used to talk to the pedal over USB.

Will it overwrite my presets?

Edits play live without saving. Nothing is written until you choose Save to slot, and it asks before overwriting. Back up anything you care about first.
